XIMR MUMBAI – Intake, Fees, Placements, MBA CET Cut Off | UOT MBA
I hope you all are doing well. Today, the talk is all about XIMR, one of the MMS institutes from Mumbai which is not known to many MBA aspirants. This institute ranks in Top 10 MMS institutes of Mumbai. Many students mostly get confused with this institute due to the presence of SIES, N.L. Dalmia and PUMBA. I shall clarify this in the Tipani section found at the end of this article.
Xavier Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai (XIMR)
Fees & Intake
Fees for the course of 2 years is Rs. 5,00,000+
I find the intake figure very attractive. It is 60 students
Remember, this institute has minority seats for Roman Catholics.
Total intake 61 seats (60 + 1 J & K) of which,
- Roman Catholic Minority- 31 seats
- Institute level Seats- 12 seats
- All India Quota – 3 seats
- No category reservation
For CAP seats & Minority seats, admission will be through The DTE CAP Rounds.
Admission Process and Cut Off
A student must go through DTE CAP Rounds to secure a seat in XIMR. The other way is Institute Level Seats (only for Maharashtra State students)
MBA CET score required is given below (can go up by some marks this year)
Home University(Mumbai) – 114 marks
Other than Home University – 120 marks
All India Quota – 99.78%ile
Minority – 80 marks
A student can expect good placement opportunities and for the institute, placing 60 students is not a big deal.
Average package – Rs. 5.5 lpa+
Highest package – Rs. 10 lpa+
The biggest strength of XIMR is intake.
Comparing this institute with PUMBA, the advantage is Mumbai location and intake. PUMBA has the advantage of low fees structure.
If you want to choose between SIES, N.L. Dalmia, XIMR and PUMBA, the choice is PUMBA for ROI otherwise XIMR wins the game because of intake.
